Launch of сertified аirst aid courses

The educational initiative BlueBird Tech Academy announces the launch of two practical first-aid training programs for civilians: "Stop the Bleed" and "Stop the Bleed Advanced." Based on international standards developed by the American College of Surgeons, the courses aim to build skills in controlling severe bleeding and acting effectively within the first critical minutes following an injury. Training sessions begin on August 11, 2026, in Odesa, with plans to expand the project to Kyiv and offer specialized corporate training programs.

The training process is highly practice-oriented and structured by difficulty level. The 4-hour basic course (cost: UAH 1,400) covers scene safety assessment, identification of severe bleeding, and practical training in applying CAT and SICH tourniquets. The 6-hour advanced course (cost: UAH 1,600) is designed for individuals with prior basic training and includes hands-on practice with an expanded range of tourniquets (SOFTT, SAM, TMT, RMT), wound packing algorithms, application of dressings using artificial blood, and real-life scenario simulations under controlled stress involving noise and physical exertion.

The courses are open to individuals aged 18 and older, with no prior medical background required. Classes are conducted in small groups (up to 10 participants per instructor) to ensure effective skill mastery. The instruction team consists of certified specialists in first aid and tactical medicine accredited under STB, BLS, ITLS, and CLS programs. Upon successful completion of the training, each participant will receive an official certificate.
