The State Employment Service has launched a project that gives women the opportunity to acquire professions previously considered “male.” Participation is possible only upon an employer’s request: the company submits an application, the service selects candidates, organizes training, and guarantees employment. A total of 31 specialties are available, with training lasting up to 10 months.

To participate, a passport, identification code, and education certificate are required. A woman must be an insured person. The cost of the course is about 30,200 UAH; if the amount is higher, the difference can be covered by the employer or the participant herself. After completing the training, the employer is obliged to officially hire the new employee within 15 days.
