How applicants can track ranking lists and assess admission chances in 2026

As part of the 2026 admissions campaign, with application submission open from July 19 to August 1, prospective students have the opportunity to continuously monitor their position in the ranking lists. The primary web resources for obtaining reliable information are the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (EDEBO) and the "Vstup.OSVITA.UA" information system integrated with it. Data on these official platforms is updated daily, ensuring transparency and allowing applicants to track changes promptly.

The published ranking registries are generated separately for each major and include key metrics: entrance examination results (NMT certificates), calculated competitive scores, and current application statuses (specifically, "Admitted to Competition" or "Recommended for Admission"). Alternative sources for verifying this information include the official websites of specific higher education institutions, as well as third-party analytical services that enable quick searches by the applicant's last name and initials.

For strategic planning and evaluating the likelihood of admission to state-funded spots, applicants are advised to analyze historical passing scores from previous years. At the same time, mandatory regulatory thresholds must be taken into account: for most majors, the minimum threshold score is 130 points, while for high-demand fields (medicine, law, international relations), it is at least 150 points. Under this year's rules, each applicant is entitled to submit up to ten applications in total, with a maximum of five for state-funded places.
