The Khmelnytskyi Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy, in cooperation with Academic Trainings and the International Bible Seminary (USA), is announcing student enrollment for a five-month certified chaplaincy training program scheduled to begin on September 10, 2026. The initiative is implemented with the administrative and organizational support of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Christian Rescue Service, and specialized domestic and international organizations to provide high-quality spiritual, psychological, and crisis support to military personnel and the civilian population.
The educational process will be conducted in a distance-learning format using a personal online platform accessible on any electronic device. Every Monday, participants will receive educational and methodological materials, video and audio lectures, as well as practical assignments. The estimated workload is 5 to 10 hours per week, allowing students to combine their studies with professional activities or ministry.
The curriculum covers core professional disciplines, including an introduction to chaplaincy, the psychology of wartime trauma, Christian counseling, and crisis intervention. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a corresponding certificate; however, please note that this does not imply automatic appointment to a military chaplain position, as pursuant to the Law of Ukraine "On the Military Chaplaincy Service," holding a higher theological degree and meeting other statutory requirements are mandatory conditions.
Applications for participation and detailed admission conditions can be found on the official website of the program.
