Ukrainian educational institutions will soon gain free access to the Elai platform thanks to a strategic partnership with Panopto, a global leader in AI-powered video learning. The initiative aims to equip educators with innovative tools for creating interactive video content using AI avatars, supporting teaching and learning even in challenging circumstances.

Founded in 2021, Ukrainian startup Elai was acquired by Panopto in 2024. The Elai platform supports over 75 languages and offers more than 80 voice avatars, allowing educators to produce high-quality video content without the need for professional video production resources.

Vasylina-Roksolana Shvadchak, Director General of the Digital Transformation Directorate at Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science, emphasized that the collaboration with Panopto and Elai will expand access to high-quality educational materials across the country. The partnership also includes joint research into the impact of artificial intelligence in education, focusing on how students and teachers perceive and engage with AI avatars in the learning process.

The program will prioritize institutions operating in remote or hybrid learning formats. Applications for participation can be submitted via the provided link.
