The training took place at the DYuSSh pools and aimed to teach safe handling rules in bodies of water and provide first aid skills.
During the event, students acquired skills that could assist in drowning incidents: safe approach to the victim, use of rescue equipment such as rings, ropes, or boats. This initiative by the Mukachevo City Council underscores the importance of preparedness for emergencies and the ability to provide assistance in critical moments.
Special attention was given to assessing the condition of the victim and the need for cardiopulmonary resuscitation if breathing or heartbeat stops. Participants had the opportunity to practice these skills on specialized mannequins, making the training highly effective and realistic.
These activities are part of a broader municipal safety program aimed at shaping correct responses in children during emergencies and increasing general awareness of safe water leisure practices.
