Expanding access to digital education in Berdychiv: enrollment opens for free courses for middle-aged and senior citizens

A new enrollment period for free computer and media literacy courses designed for middle-aged and older residents has been announced in the Berdychiv urban territorial community. The training is organized at the Internet Center of the Public Library, located at 10 Vinnytska Street. According to Tetiana Kushchuk, Director of the institution, the key advantage of the program is its one-on-one format, which allows the curriculum to be tailored to the individual pace and specific needs of each participant.

The educational program focuses on acquiring practical skills for daily life. Course participants will learn to confidently operate smartphones, tablets, and laptops, make utility payments and online transactions, communicate through instant messengers, and master the fundamentals of cybersecurity and media literacy. The instruction is conducted in a supportive environment specifically structured to help participants overcome anxiety around modern technology.

Due to limited availability, organizers recommend registering in advance by calling 068 880 86 02 or visiting the library in person. The implementation of such initiatives promotes social engagement among senior citizens, enhances their digital autonomy, and ensures equal access to modern public and commercial e-services.
