Expanding Educational Opportunities of the EU4Digital Academy in Cybersecurity

As part of a strategic partnership with the EU-funded CYRUS platform, the EU4Digital Academy has expanded its catalogue of free learning resources with three new specialized courses. These programs aim to strengthen cyber resilience across the Eastern Partnership countries and offer up-to-date knowledge in English. The new learning stack complements the foundational "Cybersecurity" course and focuses on preventing modern digital threats in the manufacturing, transport, and corporate sectors.

The curriculum covers three key vectors of protection: the human factor, technical development security, and malware countermeasures:

  • Cybersecurity Culture and Human Behaviour: Tailored for non-technical specialists and management to minimize risks caused by human error.

  • 10 Key Security Issues and Their Solutions: Provides engineers and developers with the tools to create secure code and eliminate web application vulnerabilities.

  • Ransomware: A specialized module offering practical network protection strategies and data recovery algorithms, which are critical for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The CYRUS platform, implemented by a consortium of 11 organizations (including EIT Manufacturing), ensures high-quality materials and compliance with international security standards. The integration of these courses into the EU4Digital ecosystem allows professionals at all levels — from office workers to system architects — to access leading European expertise. Detailed information regarding registration and module content is available in the relevant sections of the Academy’s online catalogue.
