The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Institute for Education Development, is implementing a specialized online course for teachers from front-line and temporarily occupied regions. The project is aimed at the strategic preparation of a personnel reserve for the restoration of the educational process in de-occupied territories. The key goal of the initiative is to develop the professional resilience of educators during prolonged periods of inactivity and to foster readiness to work according to state standards in the post-crisis period.
The training curriculum covers a complex of critically important areas: from school reintegration algorithms into local communities to the implementation of methods for overcoming learning loss and NUS (New Ukrainian School) standards. Particular attention is paid to information security, countering propaganda, and psychological support for participants in the educational process. Course participants will master tools for dealing with childhood trauma and techniques to prevent professional burnout, which are fundamental for working in conditions of high uncertainty.
This course is the initial stage of a large-scale program that will further include facilitated sessions, practical modules, and the study of mentoring and supervision mechanisms. The implementation of this initiative will allow for the creation of a professional community capable of ensuring high-quality education and psychological support in the territories returning to the control of Ukraine.
Current information regarding registration and the detailed structure of the modules is available on the official web portal of the course.
