Professional start: course

The Unit 6.0 initiative, in partnership with the Reskilling Ukraine program, is launching a free educational project aimed at the professional development of male and female veterans. This project trains specialists whose role is to provide support to former service members in civilian career planning, successful requalification, and high-quality preparation of employment documents.

The training process will last four weeks in a blended format, combining remote and in-person sessions. This will be followed by a month of practical skill application. The in-person (offline) module is scheduled for February 23 to March 13, 2026. Practical training will take place both online and directly in institutions or territorial communities located in the participants' areas of residence. Successful graduates will receive an official certificate, opening the way to employment in the new specialty.

Veterans are invited to participate if they have been discharged from military service for at least six months, have a desire to work with people, and are confident users of MS Office software. Preference will be given to candidates with a higher education degree. The organizers will cover all financial expenses associated with the in-person session, including the cost of tuition, accommodation, and meals.

Course graduates will be able to work in Human Resources (HR) departments, recruiting agencies, educational institutions, as well as in non-governmental and governmental organizations. Their mission is to help veterans define new professional goals and effectively integrate into civilian life.
