The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has announced that in 2025 the most popular speciality among applicants to institutions of professional pre-higher education is “Nursing.”

More than 700 colleges across the country will train specialists in 68 fields that will contribute to the country’s recovery.

Top specialities among applicants:

• Nursing
• Management
• Automotive Transport
• Electrical Engineering
• Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market
• Accounting and Taxation
• Construction and Civil Engineering
• Computer Engineering

“Nursing,” “Finance,” and “Construction” remain popular for the second year in a row.

Who applies?

• 60% of students – graduates of the 9th grade
• almost 30% – graduates of the 11th grade

Funding

• 66,000 students – funded by the state budget
• 50,000 students – on a contract basis
