The third annual competition "Capital of Adult Learning and Education", organized by the Ukrainian Association for Adult Education and DVV International Representation in Ukraine, has been announced. The goal of the competition is to promote best practices in adult education, facilitate exchange of experiences among education providers in Ukraine and abroad, and organize thematic events.

Participation in the competition is open to communities in Ukraine with a population of over five thousand individuals, as well as administrative districts of cities with populations exceeding one million people. The main selection criteria include the community's ability and interest in policy change in the field of adult education, prioritization of development in this sector, and involvement of education providers and the public.

The winning community will receive the status of "Capital of Adult Learning and Education", co-organize the General Assembly of the Ukrainian Association for Adult Education in 2025, and have the opportunity for international internships and partnerships supported by DVV International.
