Registration is now open on Prometheus, Ukraine's leading educational platform, for a new free training course dedicated to the fundamental and applied aspects of physics. The educational program was developed by an expert team from the Dignitas Fund, a charitable organization providing technological support to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The project is tailored for a general audience, particularly individuals seeking to build a foundational knowledge base for careers as military engineers, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators, and defense tech specialists.

The main objective of the course is to refresh and deepen basic knowledge of high school physics, with a sharp focus on its practical application in modern conditions. The learning material emphasizes calculations of electrical grid load capacity, as well as determining the parameters of battery systems and the capacity of portable power sources. Special attention is given to the physical properties of electromagnetic waves, principles of wireless communication, radar technology, and the specifics of how radio waves overcome artificial or natural obstacles.

The curriculum features a clear modular structure consisting of two specialized blocks: "Electrical Appliances" (8 lectures) and "Radio Waves" (an introduction and 7 lectures). The program covers topics including current characteristics, the specifics of parallel and series connections, principles of GPS operation, and the characteristics of coaxial cables and Fresnel zones. The total runtime of the condensed video materials is 3 hours. The training is conducted in a remote, asynchronous format, and students receive an official certificate upon successful completion of the program.
