This year, for the first time, the state has funded the centralized procurement of 110 interactive electronic supplements for all 8th-grade NUS textbooks, marking a pivotal milestone in the digitalization of education.
Under current legislation, these multimedia resources are a mandatory component of the educational package, designed to enhance material comprehension through videos, animations, and interactive exercises. By hosting these materials on the "All-Ukrainian School Online" platform and UIED (Ukrainian Institute for Educational Development) resources, students in temporarily occupied territories and abroad have gained seamless access to high-quality Ukrainian educational content.
Currently, the Ministry is analyzing the user experience through surveys of teachers and students to further refine state standards. Looking ahead, digital supplements will accompany all new NUS textbooks, including editions specifically designed for children with special educational needs.
Updated requirements for developers will include the implementation of modern UX/UI design, accessibility standards, and AI technologies to personalize individual learning trajectories.
