The Kyiv Regional Military Administration has announced the launch of a free, four-week basic training course in national resistance for civilians, scheduled to begin on June 20. Organized by the specialized Regional Training Center, the program aims to strengthen national defense capabilities by involving the civilian population in territorial defense. The training will be conducted by veterans and experienced instructors exclusively on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), with daily sessions lasting between 6 and 8 hours.
Adult citizens (aged 18 and older) living in the Boryspil, Brovary, or Vyshhorod districts who have not previously undergone similar training — including university students — are invited to participate. While physical fitness levels and prior military experience are not decisive factors, high motivation and 100% attendance at all sessions are mandatory requirements. The program covers 15 applied disciplines, and graduates will receive state-recognized certificates upon successfully passing the final exam.
To participate, applicants must pre-register online based on their district of residence, as group capacity is limited. The organizers will send participation confirmations via SMS approximately one week before the training begins. It is worth noting that the Center’s activities are based on the Law of Ukraine "On the Foundations of National Resistance." Over its year and a half of operation, more than 5,000 civilians have successfully completed these training courses.
