Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUNG), in partnership with the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania), has announced the launch of a free inclusive educational program for adults. The international project "LIFECED," with a total budget exceeding €306,000, is dedicated to implementing lifelong learning strategies. The initiative aims to provide equal access to education and foster the professional self-realization of citizens within the cross-border region.
The curriculum focuses on developing critical competencies, including project management, digitalization using artificial intelligence, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship. The program is designed for 30 participants (15 from each country). The Ukrainian cohort will study in an in-person format in English, facilitating the integration of international standards into the learning process and upgrading professional qualifications to meet modern labor market demands.
The university administration, represented by Vice-Rector Oleksandr Kondrat and Project Manager Mykola Prykhodko, emphasizes that this 18-month intensive program is the result of long-standing scientific cooperation between Ukraine and Romania. The application deadline is April 17, 2026, with classes scheduled to commence on April 24. Upon completion of the course, participants will undergo assessment and receive official certificates verifying their newly acquired professional skills.
