English4Ukraine: expanding horizons in learning the English language

The English4Ukraine project has launched its second training cycle, continuing to provide free access to the licensed British platform Reallyenglish. The initiative, implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine based at MDU (Interregional Academy of Personnel Management/International Humanitarian University, depending on context) jointly with British partners (Twinning Ukraine and Reallyenglish.com Limited), is strategically important for supporting Ukraine's European integration course and enhancing its human resource capacity.

In its first year of operation, the platform was used by approximately 50,000 people from the public sector and vulnerable groups, confirming its significance as one of the largest language initiatives.

The platform offers 30 online courses of various levels (A0 – C2), covering general, business, academic, and specialized English, as well as preparation for the IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL exams. The training is flexible and accessible from any device. Free access is maintained for key categories: educators, civil servants, military personnel, veterans, and IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons).

Institutions can join by concluding a bilateral agreement with MDU, while military personnel, veterans, and IDPs register directly through online application forms. English4Ukraine creates genuine opportunities for professional development and makes the English language — recognized as an infrastructure of post-war recovery — accessible to those who seek to learn.
