The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is introducing targeted financial assistance for "winter intake" applicants. This program is designed specifically for residents of occupied or frontline territories, veterans, former prisoners of war, and military personnel. The state provides monthly funding for full-time tuition in an amount of up to 3,000 UAH, which is transferred directly to the educational institution once the request is confirmed via the Diia app.

Beyond the payment for educational services, the program provides full compensation for dormitory costs as well as a monthly living allowance of 3,328 UAH. The preparatory training lasts from three to six months and covers an intensive curriculum of three mandatory subjects and one elective. Currently, 78 universities have joined the initiative, offering course graduates up to 15 additional points toward their competitive rating for future university admission.
