In Ukraine, a free professional development program “Inclusive Education: From Theory to Effective Solutions” will start, organized by the UNESCO Office in cooperation with Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The course is designed for educators and psychologists working with children with special educational needs.

The program will run from September 25 to November 14, 2025, and will include a series of online webinars, independent study, and final testing. Participants will gain knowledge of the key principles of inclusive education, learn how to design individual learning plans, manage documentation, apply universal design, and use effective support tools.

Special attention will be given to partnerships between educators, psychologists, and families, which are the foundation of a high-quality inclusive school environment. Those who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate worth 0.6 ECTS credits.
