Free education and personal growth: opportunities at Goncharenko centre in Poltava

The Goncharenko Centre in Poltava offers an extensive program of free courses available to everyone regardless of their age. The primary focus is the study of foreign languages, including English, German, Polish, Spanish, and Italian, with an emphasis on levels ranging from beginner to intermediate. In addition to linguistic classes, the space hosts preparation courses for the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) in history and mathematics, as well as various creative workshops that span from Petrykivka painting and watercolors to acting skills and neurography.

The center’s director, Liudmyla Pryadko, notes that their audience is highly diverse, featuring 18-year-old students alongside senior citizens, the oldest of whom is 78 years old. The popularity of these courses is driven by the high standard of teaching; for example, exam preparation is led by educators focused on achieving the best possible results for their students. For many residents, the center has become more than just an educational platform, serving as a vital space for socialization, a change of pace, and psychological relief.

Education at the center is completely free of charge, yet it demands discipline from its participants. Students may be dismissed for systematic unexcused absences to vacate spots for candidates on the waiting list. For the summer period, the institution plans to expand its children's programs to include educational games, sculpting, and painting, ensuring meaningful leisure activities for schoolchildren during their holidays.

The center operates daily except Saturdays and is located at 21 Vitalii Hrytsaienko Avenue. If there are currently no vacancies in active groups, the administration adds applicants to a reserve for the next intake.
